Oatmeal with pear and pomegranate / Havermout met peer en granaatappel

During pomegranate season (you can buy pomegranates from Turkey or Spain for example) I always buy lots of pomegranates. By keeping boxes full of pomegranate seeds in my freezer, I can eat pomegranate throughout the year. Every evening I take two spoons of pomegranate seeds, keep this in the fridge, and by the next morning it has defrosted. Season: winter, spring, summer, autumn

Ingredients for one bowl

  • 1 pear
  • 60gr oatmeal
  • 200 gr yogurt
  • 2 spoons pomegranate

Ingrediënten voor één kom (Dutch)

  • 1 peer
  • 60 gr havermout
  • 200gr yoghurt
  • 2 eetlepels granaatappel

Recipe

  1. In case of frozen pomegranate: take two spoons of pomegranate the evening before and keep these in your fridge.
  2. The next morning, slice the pear in small pieces and combine with the yogurt, oatmeal and pomegranate.
